Edgar Flow C Drink
Energy in advance„C = carbohydrates. The fuel you top up ahead of time.“
Flow C Drink is designed for targeted energy top-up before and after exercise. It follows on from the iconic Edgar Powerdrink as its improved successor — with a new formula and smarter use both in preparation for exercise and afterwards.
Fill up in advance
You don't wait for the reserve light to come on — you fill up before the journey. Flow C is a carbohydrate drink for topping up energy in advance: you sip it before exercise so your body has fuel ready right from the start.

Full tank
Energy from a combination of several carbohydrate sources — Cluster Dextrin, Palatinose™ and others.
Prepared in advance
You top up energy calmly and in advance, not at the last minute before the start.
No solid food
A practical liquid form — top up energy without another meal right before exercise.
Key features of Flow C
Flow C Drink is designed for targeted energy top-up before and after exercise. It contains a combination of several carbohydrate sources including Cluster Dextrin and Palatinose™, and it can also be used after demanding activity in AFTER+ mode. Why add Flow C:
Energy in advance
You top up energy gradually before exercise, not at the last minute.
A combination of several carbohydrate sources
The energy part of the formula consists of Cluster Dextrin, Palatinose™ and other carbohydrate sources.
A practical liquid form
You can sip Flow C gradually in advance of activity without needing another solid meal right before exercise.
Use after exercise too
In AFTER+ mode it can follow on from post-activity energy replenishment and subsequent sports nutrition.
A well-thought-out formula
Alongside the multi-source carbohydrate blend, Flow C also contains MCT fats and citrulline malate.
Who Flow C Drink is for
Flow C was created for athletes who want to top up energy deliberately and have it ready before they need it.

For different kinds of sport
Suitable for running, cycling, triathlon, trail, team sports and other activities with higher energy demands.

For those who plan energy ahead
You sip Flow C gradually roughly 1–3 hours before activity, for example between your last meal and the start of exercise.

When you don't want solid food right before exercise
The practical liquid form lets you top up energy without having to add another larger meal shortly before activity.

For athletes with more sensitive digestion
The liquid form and the combination of several carbohydrate sources are designed with good tolerance and gradual energy top-up in mind.

For young and junior athletes
Also suitable for young athletes with a regular or higher training load who need to top up energy deliberately.

During demanding or multi-session training
You can use Flow C before another training session or in AFTER+ mode to top up energy after a previous load.
How to use Flow C Drink
Before exercise
Mix the recommended dose according to the stated ratio and sip it gradually over 20–30 min; finish it 60 min before the activity starts.
Dose by body weight
1 g of powder per 1 kg of body weight. 1 scoop = 20 g + 100 ml of water.
AFTER+ after exercise
After a demanding endurance or speed session, gradually drink 2 scoops mixed in 200 ml of water within 60 min after Recovery Drink as a second wave of glycogen replenishment.

| Body weight | Scoops | Amount of powder |
|---|---|---|
| up to 60 kg | 3× | 60 g |
| up to 80 kg | 4× | 80 g |
| up to 100 kg | 5× | 100 g |
Try your dosing in training first, not on race day – digestion and energy needs differ from person to person. The recommended daily dose is 60–100 g depending on body weight.
A food supplement is not a substitute for a varied and balanced diet or a healthy lifestyle. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. Recommended daily dose: 60–100 g depending on body weight. Maximum daily dose: 100 g. Not intended for children, pregnant or breastfeeding women. Keep out of reach of children. Store in a dry place at up to 25 °C.
Where it fits into your day

Principles and context
The essentials are above. If you want to understand why it works — how glycogen, insulin and cortisol relate to each other — you can open the second, more technical layer.
Why Flow C Drink works The key isn't topping up energy at the last minute.
Why Flow C Drink works
Carbohydrates are the basic fuel of performance. But the key isn't topping up energy at the last minute – it's preparing your body in advance so it has something to draw on right from the start.
Smart carbohydrates
Instead of one fast sugar, Flow C Drink combines Cluster Dextrin, Palatinose™ and other carbohydrates. They release energy gradually, so the body can use it better and store it (as glycogen).
What that means for you
Steadier energy intake, easier digestion and a lower risk of your legs going halfway through. No jolt and no sharp energy swing.
The result?
Less stress on the stomach, steadier energy and a body ready for exercise and between sessions.
Smart composition for steady energy A multi-source blend of carbohydrates and fats for a steady energy intake.
Smart composition for steady energy
A multi-source blend of carbohydrates and fats designed for steady, easily digestible energy intake – without hitting the stomach.
Glycogen = your internal energy store Glycogen is the storage form of sugar (glucose) that the body puts aside for moments when it needs immediate energy.
Cortisol isn't the enemy. It depends when. An ally during exercise, a problem after exercise without fuel — timing decides.
Cortisol isn't the enemy. It depends when.
So this doesn't come out wrong: cortisol is a hormone the body needs. It isn't a villain we'd want to switch off. The problem isn't cortisol itself — the problem is when it stays high at the wrong moment and has nowhere to draw energy from but your muscles.
During exercise — an ally
- Helps release energy for muscle and brain
- Brings fat stores in as fuel
- Dampens the perception of fatigue and pain — keeps you going
After exercise without fuel — a problem
- The glycogen store is depleted
- The body looks for energy — and reaches for muscle
- Breaks down muscle protein (catabolism) instead of recovering
The seesaw: insulin and cortisol after exercise After exercise only one thing decides — whether the glycogen store is full or empty.
The seesaw: insulin vs. cortisol after exercise
You need cortisol during exercise — it helps release energy. What we're talking about here is the time after exercise and during recovery: then only one thing decides, whether your glycogen store is full or empty.
Full store
You drink Flow C regularly- Insulin wins → calm + performance
- Steady energy
- Focus
- Recovery
- Muscle is safe
Empty store
You underestimate topping up- Cortisol looks for energy elsewhere
- The body reaches for muscle protein
- Slower replenishment of stores
- More demanding recovery
Glycogen = storage sugar. The muscle store (300–500 g) powers movement, the liver store (80–120 g) feeds the brain. The liver store lasts ~90 min of hard sport or ~12–18 h without food.
